After playing with the puppets we ended up with a rabbit that has no eyes, ears, nose, or whiskers. All he has left is one tooth. So my step-son has named him Faceless.

Sock Puppets are not as easy to make as they may seem. We bought a kit for my step-son for his birthday, and finally decided it was time to use it. We got out all of the supplies and set off making a rabbit, a snake, a pig, and a weird looking dude. As we began working, we realized the socks they supplied us with didn’t have heels! Making them talk was now almost impossible. To make it worse the glue they supplied us with didn’t stick to the socks.

Now that they have been used a bit they are starting to loose their parts. We now have a one eared, one toothed rabbit, a weird guy who lost his hair, a snake who’s fangs stick out straight in front of him, and a pig who’s ear ends up in his mouth when making him talk.

It was a good first effort. We’ll have to get better supplies and try again.
